welcome to the webbed site of miellifera!

did you know bees have three colour receptor cones in their eye just like us? except their third one is for detecting ultra-violet light, and they can't see reds very well. my site name is a combination of the italian (or french) word for honey, miele (or miel) and part of the scientific name for the European honeybee (mellifera). Miel for short !
This website is mostly for all of my projects and art, plus I also have a book and movie review page if you want to check out the media I've been consuming... mostly it's just to keep track of my thoughts and favourites.
I really don't like modern social media (algorithms... eugh...) and so the indieweb called to me. I did a very brief HTML introduction in my second-last year of highschool, and so entered this project with a beginner's knowledge and a lot of audacity. My website may not look that complex, but the code took time and effort and I'm proud of it !!! It's also unfinished, but I'll post the rest later !!
